101 Stats To Know Ahead of Your Fantasy Football Draft

Drafting

1. Over the last five years, players drafted in the 1st Round on ADP have finished inside their respective position's top-5 scorers (PPR format) just 38% of the time and have finished inside their respective position's top-10 scorers just 58% of the time. The opening round cannot win your draft but it can lose it.

2. Over the last 17 seasons (since Peyton Manning in 2006), no player drafted as the top QB on ADP has finished that season as the top-scoring QB in fantasy.

  • Impacted Players: Josh Allen

3. Over the last 5 years, QBs drafted in the first 4 rounds on ADP have had a return-on-investment (finish at or better than ADP) rate of just 26.3%

  • Impacted Players: Jalen Hurts, Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson, Patrick Mahomes

4. Over the last 5 seasons, 57% of the RB1s (top 12 in points) in PPR scoring have been drafted within the first 2 rounds on ADP.

  • Impacted Players: Bijan Robinson, Breece Hall, Christian McCaffrey, Derrick Henry, Isiah Pacheco, Jahmyr Gibbs, Jonathan Taylor, Kyren Williams, Saquon Barkley, Travis Etienne

5. Over the last 5 seasons, just 9 RBs finished in the top 12 in PPR scoring (15% of RB1s) and were drafted beyond the 6th round on ADP.

6. RBs (31.4%) and WRs (33.3%) have comparable return-on-investment rates over the last 5 years, suggesting there is a minimal differentiation in which position is more likely to be successful in drafting in the first round.

7. Top-12 WRs (18.6 PPG) narrowly have outscored top-12 RBs (18.5 PPG) on average over the last five years, but the drop-off in production is much steeper among RBs within the RB2 (-25% vs RB1s) and RB3 (-41% vs RB1s) tiers than among WRs within the WR2 (-19% vs WR1s) and WR3 (-29% vs WR1s) tiers. This means that targeting RBs in volume early and often has provided more positive draft results.

8. Over the last five years, top-5 TEs have been comprised 97% of the time by TEs drafted inside the first 6 rounds, on ADP.

  • Impacted Players: Mark Andrews, Sam LaPorta, Travis Kelce, Trey McBride

Offensive Schemes

9. Josh Allen averaged 22.5 PPG with Ken Dorsey as the OC in Buffalo last year while the offense was 13th in pass percentage (% of offensive plays). Following the firing of Dorsey (replaced by Joe Brady), Allen averaged 24.1 PPG as the Bills were 31st in pass percentage.

  • Impacted Players: Josh Allen

10. Bills' RB James Cook averaged 19.6 touches, 16.7 carries, and 16.4 fantasy points (PPR) per game under OC Joe Brady compared to 14.4 touches, 12 carries, and 11.8 fantasy points per game under Ken Dorsey for the first 10 games of 2023, an increase of nearly 40% in PPG.

  • Impacted Players: James Cook

11. Even with a backup QB for a majority of the season, the Bengals under then-OC Brian Callahan had the highest early-down pass frequency in the NFL over the last 2 seasons. For context, Brian Callahan is now the Head Coach of the Tennessee Titans.

  • Impacted Players: Calvin Ridley, DeAndre Hopkins, Tony Pollard, Tyjae Spears, Will Levis

12. The Dallas Cowboys have had a TE finish inside the top 12 in PPR scoring all but one season (2018) since Dak Prescott became the team's starting QB.

  • Impacted Players: Jake Ferguson

13. In five seasons with Kliff Kingsbury as his Head Coach, Kyler Murray averaged 6.5 attempts and 37.7 rushing yards per game while tallying 26 rushing TDs. Kingsbury is now the offensive coordinator for Washington and rookie QB Jayden Daniels.

  • Impacted Players: Jayden Daniels

14. While with San Francisco, Jim Harbuagh's teams ranked 31st in pass attempts. Coincidingly, the Chargers' offensive coordinator, Greg Roman, has seen his offenses rank within the bottom-5 in the league in passing in 8 of his 10 seasons as an OC.

  • Impacted Players: Gus Edwards, Justin Herbert

15. Arthur Smith-coached teams have ranked inside the top 5 in target share to TEs for 4 consecutive seasons (Tennessee 2020, Atlanta 2021-2023), including a 34.3% target share to TEs in 2024 - the highest in the NFL.

  • Impacted Players: Pat Freiermuth

16. New Seahawks' OC Ryan Grubb's former Washington Huskies threw the ball on 62% of its plays, the 8th-most among Power 5 schools.

  • Impacted Players: DK Metcalf, Geno Smith, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Tyler Lockett

Quarterbacks

17. In each of the last two years, the top 5 fantasy QBs have had an average of over 20% of their fantasy points via rushing. That is the first time in the modern fantasy football era that consecutive seasons have had the top 5 QBs average that mark, making rushing/dual-threat QBs a major asset.

  • Impacted Players: Anthony Richardson, Jalen Hurts, Jayden Daniels, Josh Allen, Kyler Murray, Lamar Jackson

18. Anthony Richardson led all QBs of 4+ GP in fantasy points per touch (0.916), registering 55 touches in his two fully-played games (ranked as the QB4 & QB2 in points). At that weekly volume and efficiency, Richardson would have needed just 12.7 games to finish as a top-5 QB in fantasy points.

19. Despite the 49ers ranking dead-last in passing attempts, Brock Purdy ranked 4th in passing yards and 2nd in passing TDs due to ranking 1st in yards per attempt (9.6), a mark that ranked 2nd among 669 QB seasons with 300+ passing attempts since 2000.

20. Brock Purdy has led the NFL in passing TD percentage each of the last two seasons (7.0% in 2023, 7.6% in 2022) - a typical indicator of likely regression the following season. No QB has led the NFL in passing TD percentage (min. 8 GP in season) for three consecutive seasons since Brett Favre from 1995-1997.

  • Impacted Players: Brandon Aiyuk, Brock Purdy, Deebo Samuel, George Kittle

21. Jared Goff has averaged 9.9% more fantasy points and 42.6% more passing touchdowns per game in indoor stadiums (i.e. domes) than in outdoor stadiums over the course of his NFL career. Detroit will play just three outdoor games in 2024: at Green Bay (11/3), at Chicago (12/22), and at San Francisco (12/30).

  • Impacted Players: Amon-Ra St. Brown, Jameson Williams, Jared Goff, Sam LaPorta

22. Jalen Hurts scored 13 rushing TDs of 3 or fewer yards in 2023 (aka the "Tush Push"), accounting for 22.3% of his total fantasy points. With the retirement of Jason Kelce and the addition of RB Saquon Barkley, there is concern the Eagles may reduce the volume of Jalen Hurts' carries along the goal-line.

  • Impacted Players: Jalen Hurts, Saquon Barkley

23. Joe Burrow entered the 2023 season hobbled by a calf injury yet played through the lingering injury that contributed to him averaging 7.88 fantasy PPG and a passer rating of 69.1 through the first month, then followed by 21.4 fantasy PPG and a passer rating of 107.0 for the remainder of the season until his Week 11 injury. Prorating his per-game production following the first month of the season over 17 games would have seen Burrow rank as the QB2 in 2023.

24. Joe Burrow's weekly inconsistencies throughout his career directly correlate to his opponent: against divisional opponents (Baltimore, Cleveland, Pittsburgh), Burrow has finished as a top-12 QB in just 33% of his games, whereas against all other games, he has finished as a top-12 QB 56% of the time.

  • Impacted Players: Ja'Marr Chase, Joe Burrow, Tee Higgins

25. Over the final 8 games of 2023, Jordan Love ranked: 1st in passing yards (2,150), 2nd in passing TDs (18), and 1st in fantasy points (168.5). For comparison, through the first 9 games Love ranked 20th in passing yards, T-12th in passing TDs, and 13th in fantasy points.

26. Since 2016 (Lamar Jackson), no college QB scrambled for more yards per game than Washington's rookie QB, Jayden Daniels (44.8).

27. Following his return from injury in Week 10, Kyler Murray scored 17+ points in 6 of 8 games even despite the Cardinals' then-WR1, Marquise Brown, playing just 3 full games.

28. Despite the prolific rookie season, C.J. Stroud ranked as the 8th-least consistent top-24 fantasy QB (0.470 CR), finishing as a top-12 QB in just 43% of his games.

29. Cowboys' QB Dak Prescott led the league in completions (410) and passing TDs (36), while posting career-best numbers in completion percentage (69.5%) and fantasy points (342.8) in his first year post-Kellen Moore as Offensive Coordinator.

30. Deshaun Watson averaged 17.7 PPG in games he fully played in 2023 - a mark that, pro-rated over a full 17-game schedule, would have resulted in him finishing as the QB6 in points.

31. Lamar Jackson's 2023 season featured 'only' 51.3 rushing yards per game and an 11% scramble rate. Despite having career-low marks in both metrics, Jackson led the league in both stats and finished as a top-4 fantasy QB.

32. 2023 marked a career-low in designed carries per game for Lamar Jackson with just 5.3 designed runs per game compared to a previous career-low of 6.9 per game (2021).

33. With both Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua healthy, Matthew Stafford averaged 18.7 PPG compared to 12.5 PPG with at least one inactive. That per-game production with both Kupp and Nacua would pro-rate to finishing as the QB6 over an entire 17-game season.

34. No QB was less consistent (in Sig CR) than Daniel Jones in 2023, featuring a 91% standard deviation in points in 'significant games' and under 9 fantasy points in 3/4 full games.

  • Impacted Players: Daniel Jones, Malik Nabers

Runningbacks

35. No RB has repeated as the top-scoring RB in fantasy points (PPR scoring) in consecutive seasons since Priest Holmes in 2002 & 2003.

  • Impacted Players: Christian McCaffrey

36. Since 2015, only one RB has averaged 15+ points per game alongside a QB that scored 100+ fantasy points via rushing (Saquon Barkley/Daniel Jones in 2022).

  • Impacted Players: Derrick Henry, James Conner, James Cook, Jonathan Taylor, Saquon Barkley

37. Christian McCaffrey produced 13+ PPR fantasy points in each game in 2023, ranking inside the top 12 in 13/16 games, inside the top 15 in 14/16 games, and inside the top 24 in each game - all fantasy football records.

38. Alvin Kamara scored 54.8% of his fantasy points in PPR scoring via receiving totals (2nd), including over 32% of his points from the reception points (most). No other RB had a larger difference in points (-75) or percent of points from PPR formats to non-PPR formats.

39. Joe Mixon's 257 carries were the 5th-most while his 309 touches were the 4th-most in the NFL in 2023, accounting for 81% of the backfield carries and 79% of the backfield touches in Cincinnati, all of which were vacated this offseason.

  • Impacted Players: Chase Brown, Zack Moss

40. The Detroit Lions' RB split between David Montgomery and Jahmyr Gibbs in carries was 57.8% to 28.9% in favor of Montgomery through the first 7 games both RBs were healthy. The final 8 games both were healthy featured a 48.2% to 42.3% split, still in favor of Montgomery but featuring a much larger role for Gibbs.

41. Following his return from injury in Week 10, David Montgomery was the RB13 in PPR scoring. Even despite Montgomery's success, Jahmyr Gibbs was the RB5 in fantasy during that stretch.

42. In 2023, Gus Edwards led all players in rushing attempts (23), led all RBs in total opportunities (23), and led all RBs in rushing TDs (12) within the 5-yard line. Free agent acquisition Derrick Henry will now assume the lead back and goal-line duties in Baltimore.

  • Impacted Players: Derrick Henry

43. Raheem Mostert in 2023 was the first time an RB aged 31 or older finished inside the top-10 in PPR scoring since 2015 and the first time one finished top-5 in points since 2004.

  • Impacted Players: Derrick Henry (turns 31 mid-season), Raheem Mostert

44. Raheem Mostert had 47.1% of his points come via TDs in 2023, the highest of any top-80 RB. For reference, his career TD Dependency prior to 2023 was 24.1%.

  • Impacted Players: DeVon Achane, Jaylen Wright, Raheem Mostert

45. Raheem Mostert averaged 14.5 touches and 16.6 fantasy points per game without Achane in the lineup but averaged 16.3 touches and 18.7 fantasy points per game with Achane active. The change-of-pace alternative and overall offensive boost Achane provided actually benefited Mostert in 2023.

46. De'Von Achane averaged 1.467 fantasy points per touch (FPPT) in 2023, the highest among RBs with 50+ touches. To have finished as an RB1 last year, he would require 159 touches at his previous efficiency.

47. Among RBs with 90+ carries, Steelers' RB Jaylen Warren ranked 3rd in yards per carry, 3rd in yards after contact per attempt, 3rd in rush yards over expected per attempt, and 8th in fantasy points per touch.

48. Among 23 RBs with 200+ carries last year, Jerome Ford ranked 7th in yards after contact per attempt, 7th in missed tackles forced per attempt, and 3rd in fantasy points per touch.

49. Cardinals' RB James Conner has never eclipsed 15 games in an individual season, missing 2+ games each year of his career. For context, Arizona drafted RB Trey Benson in the 3rd round of the 2024 NFL Draft.

  • Impacted Players: James Conner, Trey Benson

50. In the 2024 offseason, the Chiefs allowed RB Jerick McKinnon to walk in free agency without replacement, vacating 30% of the RB targets and 23.6% of the RB snaps in Kansas City.

  • Impacted Players: Carson Steele, Clyde Edwards-Helaire, Isiah Pacheco

51. In games without Jerick McKinnon, Isiah Pacheco averaged 21.1 PPG in PPR scoring, 21.6 opportunities per game, 97.7 total yards per game, and 1.2 TDs per game in 2023.

52. Najee Harris' 2023 season is the only one from an RB in 4+ years to have finished a season with 10+ top-24 (RB2) finishes, but fail to have a single top-5 week. He's not going to win you weeks, but he won't lose you weeks either - a perfect RB to pair with a potentially high-risk/high-reward RB (i.e. DeVon Achane).

53. In 2023, Tony Pollard struggled in recovery from a broken leg suffered in 2022, posting a 7.3% avoided tackle rate (2nd-lowest) before the Cowboys' Week 7 bye. Following the bye week, Pollard had an avoided tackle rate of 25% (3rd-highest).

54. Saquon Barkley has had just two seasons in his career with 2.0 rushing yards before contact per attempt in his career (and never eclipsing 2.5 YBC/Att), both of which saw him finish as a top-5 RB in fantasy. Philadelphia has ranked inside the top 5 in team rush yards before contact/attempt each of the last four seasons, featuring a minimum of 2.8 YBC/Att in each season.

55. In 2023, Raiders' RB Zamir White outproduced then-starter Josh Jacobs in yards per carry (4.3 vs 3.5), yards after contact per attempt (2.9 vs 2.3), and rushing yards over expected per attempt (0.33 vs -0.37). For context, Jacobs was the RB18 in PPG and the RB4 in points prior to a Week 12 injury.

56. In the four games Josh Jacobs missed in 2023, Zamir White averaged 23.3 touches and 15.2 fantasy points per game, ranking as the RB9 in points during that stretch.

57. Dameon Pierce was the least-efficient RB to register 60+ touches in 2023, featuring just 0.485 fantasy points per touch (FPPT). With the acquisition of Joe Mixon, there is uncertainty as to how much work Pierce will poach from Mixon in Houston.

  • Impacted Players: Dameon Pierce, Joe Mixon

58. Tyjae Spears finished 2023 with 1.012 fantasy points per touch, the 5th-most of any RB to finish inside the top-36 in PPR scoring and the 7th-most among RBs with 100+ touches. Tennessee saw 328 touches vacated with the departure of Derrick Henry this offseason.

59. Jonathon Brooks ranked in the 97th percentile for career yards after contact per attempt over the last 10 years in the Power 5 and in the 99th percentile in missed tackles forced. Notably, Panthers' RB Chuba Hubbard was 9th in the league in carries (238) in 2023.

Wide Receivers

60. Only 4 WRs in 2023 registered over 3.0 yards per route run: Tyreek Hill (4.05), Justin Jefferson (3.01), Brandon Aiyuk (3.27), and Nico Collins (3.37).

61. Justin Jefferson established himself as QB-proof in 2023, tallying 32 catches, 503 yards, and 2 TDs in 5 games without Kirk Cousins, ranking as the WR3 upon returning from his injury.

62. In 2023, Nico Collins played 5 games without Tank Dell and 10 games alongside him. In the 5 games without Dell, he averaged 6 targets and 15.7 fantasy points per game with a 19.2% target share. For comparison, in the 10 games with Dell active, Collins averaged 7.9 targets and 18.2 fantasy points per game with a 23.4% target share.

63. Stefon Diggs has played 3 seasons in his career without finishing top-10 in the league in team target share; in each of those seasons, he failed to finish inside the top-20 WRs. For context, every other season in his career, he finished inside the top 10 in PPR scoring.

64. Prior to his season-ending injury in Week 13, Tank Dell was the WR14 in points (165.0) and WR13 in PPG (16.5).

65. Of WR4s or better, only three WRs have ranked inside the top 12 of the most consistent fantasy WRs each of the last two years: Chris Olave (3rd, 1st), Chris Godwin (5th, 3rd), and Brandon Aiyuk (12th, 12th). These players feature significant week-to-week stability that is desired when targeting a WR2 or FLEX.

66. Jaguars' rookie WR Brian Thomas Jr. scored an FBS-leading 17 receiving TDs and 9 TDs of 30+ yards in 2023. For context, Trevor Lawrence had the 6th-most deep pass attempts and ranked inside the top 10 QBs in average depth of target in 2023.

67. Former Jacksonville Jaguars' WR Calvin Ridley had the 3rd-most redzone targets (26) in the NFL in 2023, which are now vacated due to his departure to Tennessee.

  • Impacted Players: Brian Thomas Jr., Christian Kirk, Evan Engram

68. 44% of 1st Round (NFL Draft) rookie WRs have finished as a top-36 WR and 27% have finished as a WR2 or better over the last decade.

  • Impacted Players: Brian Thomas Jr., Malik Nabers, Marvin Harrison Jr., Ricky Pearsall, Rome Odunze, Xavier Legette, Xavier Worthy

69. Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis, now in Houston and Jacksonville respectively, accounted for 46.8% of the Bills' targets.

  • Impacted Players: Curtis Samuel, Dalton Kincaid, Josh Allen, Keon Coleman, Khalil Shakir

70. Garrett Wilson was the leading WR in the NFL in route participation, air yard share, and total routes run in 2023.

71. Jets' WR Garrett Wilson boasted the 4th-most targets (168) and 5th-highest target share (29.8%) but ranked just 13th in catchable targets (103). Wilson now sees the return of Aaron Rodgers as his starting QB, who ranked 2nd in percentage of on-target throws in 2022 and 2020.

72. Steelers' WRs and TEs have been plagued by struggling QB play the last two seasons with the team ranking 31st in passing TD percentage (2.3%) and dead-last in the NFL in passing TDs (25). Potential starting QBs Russell Wilson (5.9%) and Justin Fields (4.2%) feature career passing TD percentages that rank 6th and 42nd (of 101 QBs with 10+ starts) respectively.

  • Impacted Players: Brandon Aiyuk (?), George Pickens, Pat Freiermuth, Roman Wilson

73. Among all QBs in 2023 with 200+ dropbacks, Russell Wilson ranked dead last (39th) in 1st-read target percentage.

  • Impacted Players: George Pickens

74. Jaylen Waddle finished 2023 inside the top 5 in targets per route run (0.3), yards per route run (2.93), and first downs per route run (0.136), yet finished as the WR34 in points in large part due to just 4 TDs.

75. Despite being currently drafted outside the top 50 WRs and outside the top 10 rounds on ADP, Joshua Palmer has averaged 14.4 fantasy PPG in games with 7+ targets. For context, Palmer averaged 6.1 targets per game in 2023 and now is a likely beneficiary of Los Angeles' over 320 vacated targets from Keenan Allen, Austin Ekeler, Gerald Everett, and Mike Williams.

76. Only two WRs finished in the top 24 in PPR scoring and also finished with under a 12% TD Dependency in 2023: Michael Pittman Jr. (WR13, 9.6% TDD) and Adam Thielen (WR17, 10.4% TDD). TD Dependency is one of the biggest indicators of under-production and breakout potential if volume remains consistent into the next season.

77. Amari Cooper's 51.5-point performance in Week 16 accounted for 23% of his total points in 2023, the highest proportion of any WR's season. Prior to that game, he was the WR27 in points; after that game, he was the WR12 in points.

78. Amari Cooper was the only top-48 WR in 2023 to finish top-12 in fantasy points per touch (3.153, 8th) and among the 12 best WRs in TD Dependency (13.2%). A high FPPT with a historically strong indicator of breakout potential when volume is maintained.

79. Prior to the Cowboys' Week 7 bye, Dallas was averaging 31.8 attempts per game compared to 37.6 attempts per game over the final 11 weeks. That change in offensive philosophy coincided with CeeDee Lamb going from a 21.5% target share (26th) to 32.7% (1st) and from 14.9 PPG (17th) to 28.7 PPG (1st).

80. Will Levis' 4.8 air yards per attempt was 3rd among QBs with 8+ GP in 2023 (Brock Purdy, 5.5; Tua Tagovailoa, 5.1). It is worth noting that DeAndre Hopkins ranked 1st among WRs in air yards (1,928) and newly-acquired WR Calvin Ridley ranked 7th in air yards (1,797) while in Jacksonville.

  • Impacted Players: Calvin Ridley, DeAndre Hopkins, Will Levis

81. In 11 games with both healthy, Puka Nacua narrowly out-targeted Cooper Kupp 95 to 94.

82. Courtland Sutton had 31.5% of his points come via TDs, the highest among any top-48 WR in 2023. In 2023, he failed to find the endzone in 6 games, averaging 6.1 PPG compared to 15.4 PPG in games when scoring a TD.

83. Atlanta QBs combined for a 26.1% off-target pass percentage in 2023 (7th-highest). For context, newly-acquired Kirk Cousins was 2nd in the NFL in on-target pass percentage (82.2%)

  • Impacted Players: Darnell Mooney, Drake London, Kyle Pitts

84. Following his Week 10 bye in 2023, Rashee Rice was the WR9 in PPR scoring despite being the WR49 in target share (16.9%) compared to ranking as the WR44 in points and WR71 in target share (12.6%) prior to the bye.

85. Terry McLaurin finished 2023 with career lows in target share (20.8%), yards per target (7.6), and yards per route run (1.56).

Tight Ends

86. In 2023, teams on ESPN that had a top-4 fantasy TE through the fantasy regular season made the playoffs over half the time (Hockenson, 60.5%; LaPorta, 60.4%; Kittle, 53%; Kelce, 51.9%).

87. Zero TEs managed to hit the 15+ PPG threshold in 2023, leaving it the first season since 2016 where every TE failed to hit that mark.

88. Despite being consistent on a year-to-year basis, finishing inside the top-5 TEs in PPR scoring each of the last three years, George Kittle has offered poor weekly consistency, ranking in the bottom half of top-24 TEs each of the last three years in Consistency Rating.

89. Dalton Kincaid averaged 7.4 targets per game and a 19.8% target share in games without Dawson Knox compared to just 4.9 targets per game and a 14.9% target share in games with Knox in 2023.

90. In 6 games with Deshaun Watson at QB, David Njoku averaged 4.1 catches and 38.3 yards per game while tallying just one TD, a pace that when pro-rated over a 17-game schedule would've seen Njoku finish as the TE12 in PPR scoring, as opposed to his TE6 finish in 2023.

91. Only two players (Rob Gronkowski, Jason Witten) in NFL history have more receiving yards and only five players (Rob Gronkowski, Aaron Hernandez, Jason Witten, Tony Gonzalez, Mike Ditka) have more fantasy points among TEs before the age of 24 than Kyle Pitts.

92. Kyle Pitts led all TEs in Air Yards (1,029), yet saw just 57 catchable targets (T-15th) in 2023. He now has Kirk Cousins as his starting QB, who was 2nd in the NFL in percentage of on-target throws (82.2%) in 2023.

93. Evan Engram's top four performances (23.5% of his GP) accounted for 97.4 fantasy points in PPR scoring, equivalent to 42.3% of his total season points. All four of those games came with Christian Kirk out of the lineup due to injury.

94. In 2023, Sam LaPorta recorded the most receptions (86), the 2nd-most receiving TDs (10), the 4th-most receiving yards (889), and the most fantasy points (239.3) by a rookie TE in NFL history.

95. 2023 was the first time since 2015 that Travis Kelce finished outside the top-2 TEs in PPR scoring, a stretch spanning 7 consecutive seasons. Kelce finished as the top-scoring TE in 2023 in points per game.

96. Kyler Murray's TEs have just a 16.4% target share throughout his career. Since he joined the NFL in 2019, the league average TE target share has been 21.1% and just three teams (Carolina, Buffalo, and New York Jets) have a lower target share to TEs. Cardinals' TE Trey McBride is coming off a 19.6% target share and faces the addition of WR Marvin Harrison Jr. to the offense.

97. Following the Zach Ertz injury, Trey McBride was the TE4 in PPG, the TE1 in team target share (25.8%), and the TE1 in first-read percentage (31.8%)

98. In 2021, Zach Ertz was traded to Kliff Kingsbury's Arizona Cardinals where he was the TE2 in targets and the TE4 in fantasy points over the remainder of the season, including a 21% target share - the 3rd-highest in his career. Ertz re-connects with Kingsbury as his Offensive Coordinator in Washington in 2024.

Kickers & Defense/Special Teams

99. No player has repeated as the top-scoring Kicker in fantasy in consecutive seasons since 2015 (Stephen Gostkowski).

  • Impacted Players: Brandon Aubrey

100. The difference between a top-5 kicker in points and a kicker ranked 6th-12th in points has decreased in 4 of the last 5 seasons, dropping from an 18% difference in 2019 to an 8% difference in 2023. Kickers are becoming increasingly replaceable in fantasy football, supporting the strategy of only drafting a kicker when required by your league.

  • Impacted Players: Brandon Aubrey, Harrison Butker, Justin Tucker

101. The Dallas Cowboys have finished inside the top 2 DSTs in fantasy points each of the last three seasons. They are just one of two teams (Buffalo) to rank inside the top 8 DSTs each of the last three seasons in scoring.
