Robinson was ruled out during the day yesterday after being unable to practice at all on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. While there was originally optimism that the Alabama product would be able to take the field coming off the Commanders’ bye in Week 14, things don’t seem to have panned out in his favor and he’ll be forced to set his sights on Week 16 for a potential return. While he’s out, Antonio Gibson becomes a perfectly serviceable RB2 play in a matchup against the Rams that could easily have a lot of points scored in it. While Chris Rodriguez could have a chance to vulture some snaps from Gibson, he won’t have a high enough utilization to make him worth consideration in your starting lineup this week. The hope is for Robinson to finally take the practice field early next week and be good to go for Week 16.
