As was the case when Atlanta originally benched Ridder for Heinicke, this doesn’t change the overall fantasy outlook for any of the Falcons' weapons on offense. Both Falcons QBs have struggled in the action they’ve seen this season while helping players like Drake London to shaky week-to-week production at best. Ridder shouldn’t be in consideration in most starting lineups moving forward besides in the deepest leagues, and there’s no guarantee that he’ll continue to hold down the starting job moving forward. Heinicke was originally replaced with Ridder after suffering a hamstring injury in the team’s Week 10 loss, and with Atlanta on bye in Week 11, fantasy managers will mercifully not be forced to make start/sit decisions immediately in the aftermath of this news.
