Faraz's Week 3 Fantasy Takeaways

J.K. Dobbins’ Backfield Share Increasing

Even though it didn’t show in the box score, Dobbins’ opportunity share increased from around 50% over the first two weeks to a whopping 86% on Sunday. This could mean an increased floor and ceiling for him moving forward.

Bucky Irving Gaining Ground on Rachaad White

It’s going to be pretty tough to keep Irving off the field on early downs, particularly in the run game when he has another efficient day on the ground taking his 9 carries for 70 yards. White is averaging 2.13 YPC compared to Irving’s 6.16 this season, so expect him to continue to take work away from White moving forward. Todd Bowles has confirmed this morning that he will.

Malik Nabers Cannot be Stopped

Going into Cleveland and having the performance he did (8/78/2) gives Nabers the overall WR1 crown going into Week 4. He’s currently leading all WRs with 38% target share, 58% air yards share, and fantasy points. Stud.

Bears' Passing Game Showing Life

We have to take it with a grain of salt when it’s against the Colts' defense, but 363 passing yards and 2 TDs for Caleb Williams while providing all three of his main receivers with big days is worth noting and something to build on. Great to see Rome Odunze breaking out with a 6/112/1 performance.

Anthony Richardson Is Still Developing

It was extremely tough watching Richardson missing routine and layup throws all game long. He’s not a seasoned starter, but he will continue to get opportunities to improve. The hope is that his playcaller puts him in the best position to succeed, fully acknowledging that it’s not easy to do. That being said, he’s still going to provide some massive fantasy days, so he’s still tough to bench. He is definitely not a high-floor option at QB right now, especially against Pittsburgh next week.

Jaylen Warren Getting MRI on Knee

We're still awaiting results, but If Warren misses time, Najee Harris gets a bump. That being said, we’ll probably just get more of Arthur Smith’s favorite player Cordarrelle Patterson.

Saquon Barkley is Elite at Football

Saquon is now the fantasy RB1 through the first three weeks of the season. Speed, power, pass-catching, playmaking - he’s showcasing it all. He was the correct pick at the 1-2 turn.

Dolphins' Offense Stinks Without Tua

Skylar Thompson is dealing with a rib injury, so it’s possible he’s not available next week. If it’s not him, let’s collectively pray that Tyler Huntley is up to speed so Tim Boyle isn’t behind center in Week 4.
