Jahmyr Gibbs Has The Potential to be Special

Think of him as an Alvin Kamara-type RB as a ceiling becoming a potentially elite receiver out of the backfield.

He reminds me of Rachaad White as a prospect, but he gets the edge of having the production and efficiency at a Power 5 school. He’s slightly undersized at 5’11”, 200 lbs, and it’s possible he gets an early-down complement in the NFL.

His 2021 season was the 2nd- most efficient as a receiving RB since 2014. CMC’s 2015 season was number one. His 2020 season as a freshman was even more efficient than his 2021, but he didn’t meet the 40-target minimum, however still impressive.

All that being said, he’s not in Bijan Robinson’s tier. Why? The dropoff in talent and all-around skill set.

He’s very good on the ground, but he hasn’t shown to be near the elite tier. He has a three-down skillset, but there’s a good chance he doesn’t see an every-down role due to his smaller size. Gibbs can be a PPR beast.

Which team do you want to see him land on?
