The panic in Brazil in Week 1 sure does feel like a distant memory with Love participating in practice less than two weeks removed from what appeared to be a significant knee injury at the time. The Packers were able to not only make do with QB Malik Willis under center last week, but also snag a win against the Colts. However, their offensive gameplan looked like something out of the 1940s, with the Green Bay pass catchers relegated to blocking assignment after blocking assignment while running just 17 routes on the afternoon. That’s likely to change for the better as soon as Love gets back on the field, which HC Matt LaFleur has hinted could possibly happen as early as this week. While there’s no guarantee that he’s able to play in Week 3, he’s at least trending in a very positive direction and appears to be primed to be ready to go for Week 4 at the latest. Fantasy managers should continue to have a backup plan in place going into the weekend in the event Green Bay would opt to exercise caution and hold him out of Sunday’s game against the Titans – however, Love seems to be in a good spot in his recovery and shouldn’t miss much more, if any, time moving forward.
