On the final drive of the Packers' 29-34 defeat at the hands of the Eagles in Brazil, QB Jordan Love took an ugly hit and was forced to be helped off with what appeared to be a rather gruesome knee injury.
Fortunately, the injury ended up being a 'best-case scenario' in the grand scheme of things, only being an MCL sprain with an anticipated 3-6 week timeframe, as opposed to a potentially season-ending ACL injury. However, there have been rumblings of the potential for Love to return on the shorter side of the anticipated timeline, suggesting he may be back as early as Week 5 or Week 6.
Love went 17/34 for 260 yards, 2 TDs, and an INT prior to the injury after finishing as the QB5 in fantasy last season with over 4,400 total yards and 36 total TDs to just 7 INTs. While he recovers from his MCL injury, he should be stashed on the bench (or in IR spots when applicable) and not dropped in any moderate-sized (8+ team) leagues.
